Students are invited to join the FMS chapter of the National Junior Honor Society (different from elementary or high school chapters) at the end of their FIRST SEMESTER. Students are then asked to apply for admission into the National Junior Honor Society.

Students must show evidence of the five accomplishments:
Scholarship, Leadership, Citizenship, Character, Service

Why should students be interested in joining the National Junior Honor Society?

How do you get invited to join the National Junior Honor Society? 

• Grades: On our Standards-based 4.0 scale, you need to earn a 3.0 average during Quarters 1 & 2
• Invitation: An invitation will be available for you in early February
• Application: Fill out the application (completely and use pen or type)
• Submit the application and the FMS staff will evaluate you in the following categories:
• Scholarship
• Citizenship
• Leadership
• Character
• Service or Treatment of others
